Reece Center Horses Passed

	The horses on this page are no longer with us, but they will always live on in our hearts as a very special part of the Reece Center. Without their love and devotion, we could not do the wonderful work we do here. *They are all truly missed and loved.*
ASTRO Breed: Paso Fino Gender: Gelding Birth: August 19, 1981 Donated By: Carol Goodman		Astro passed over the Rainbow Bridge June, 2011. He was a very loving and lovable horse that will be missed by all that came in contact with him.

FANCY Breed: Pony Gender: Mare Birth: August 26, 1977 Donated By: Reece Center		Our good and faithful pony, Fancy, was laid to rest in March, 2008. She was a very large part of our family in a small package and she will be greatly missed.
JAKE Breed: Quarter Horse / Belgian Gender: Gelding Birth: April 28, 1988 Donated By: Thomas Cook		Our gentle giant, Jake, was laid to rest in March, 2008 due to chronic pain and joint degeneration. His love of people and comic relief will leave a hole at the Center family for quite a while to come.
LADY Breed: Clydesdale Gender: Mare Birth: May 15, 1988 Donated By: Denise Wheeler		Diagnosed with sudden onset EPM which caused paralysis, Lady was laid to rest November 2011. After 13 years as such a wonderful part of the Reece Center, her large and generous heart will be greatly missed.

MINGO Breed: Paso Fino Gender: Mare Birth: April 19, 1986 (Daughter is Princessa) Donated By: Ruth Goodman		After battling pain for a long time, Mingo was laid to rest in September, 2009. Her sweet and gentle nature was a wonderful addition at the Reece Center and will be missed by everyone.
PRINCESS Breed: Arabian Gender: Mare Birth: May 25, 1983 Donated By: Ramona Bell		After many years of faithful service, Princess was laid to rest in September, 2009. She was a wonderful part of our family and will be missed greatly. She will always be a princess to the Center.
RITA Breed: Appaloosa Gender: Mare Birth: February 22, 1984		Rita was a great mother to many riders for many years. She could always be counted on to take care of every rider, new or not so new. Sadly we lost Rita in November, 2010. Rest in peace our lovely mother.

SNICKERS Breed: Haflinger Cross Pony Gender: Gelding Birth: August 19, 1987		Sadly, we lost Snickers to cancer the last week of February, 2006. We will always love and miss you Snickers. You were a wonderful part of the Reece Center family.
