The Reece Center & Special Olympics


Each year, as our riders participate in the Special Olympics, we are so thankful for the opportunity this provides them to show off the skills they have been perfecting all year. We are proud of each and every one of our athletes, no matter if they are beginners or advanced riders, if they win a gold or place sixth with a beautiful ribbon.

At the Reece Center, we believe that the Special Olympics provides a wonderful avenue to give our athletes a goal to work towards. Practicing helps them perfect a skill, learn a pattern, gain confidence and focus on a dream. Winning is wonderful, but for us, the true reason for participating in Special Olympics is the fun we have at the show and the chance for our riders to focus on a goal and see it to the end. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Smiles are the gold medals of our hearts!
