On November 9, 2007 four athletes from the Reece Center participated in the Georgia Special Olympics Equestrian Games in Perry, GA.

Erin Jarrell, Dylan Collins, Elena Weaver and Lisa Eaton all performed wonderfully. Each of them demonstrated their skill on horseback as well as a wonderful sense of sportsmanship.

They worked long hours during the hot summer months and every Saturday leading up to the games practicing their horsemanship.

All the athletes participated in Showmanship, Equitation and Trail Classes.

 

Our athletes worked harder than ever. Some moved into more difficult levels of competition. Each of them pushed themselves to be their best in wonderful ways.

We could not be more proud of everyone. Thank you to all four of our athletes for making this so much fun. Everyone had a great time and displayed great showmanship.

And thank you to all the wonderful parents and volunteers that helped to make this possible for our athletes and make it such a wonderful weekend for everyone.
